Furniture: All pieces are constructed with recycled and refurbished wood. The only exception is the hardwood oak dowels, glue, and finishing product. Note however that there may be a stray nail here and there, as all the wood is full of character.

Distressed Banana Cream Coffee Table

Made from recovered pine 2 by 4’s and some severely warped planks for the top. If you are looking for character, this piece has it.

Detail of the doweling used in construction. The piece is carefully distressed to take on the appearance of having lived a well-used life.

A conversation piece in it’s natural environment.
6-Rung Old World Library Ladder:

This piece was a broken down, playground ladder that had to be cleaned up and strengthened with dowels on both sides of each rung. A unique antiqued white finish was then applied.

Distressed details on the sides and rungs that indicate a ladder that has seen years of foot travel when reaching for those high-shelved books.
Moon Wall Cabinet in Cottage Green

A simple hanging back-less wall cabinet for easy storage.

The deep cottage green cabinet is complemented with a moon cut-out on each side.
Cutting Boards: all cutting boards are made with recycled hardwood strips, glued with an FDA approved glue for indirect food contact, and then further strengthened with oak dowels. The final process includes a grain-curing rubdown with warm walnut oil, and a final treatment with heated beeswax. They can be cleaned simply with warm water and soap.

This is a grouping of cutting boards. The one on the far right is the only one that has reached it’s final stage of sanding and oiling, and is ready to assist in food preparation.
Maple Swirl Cutting Board/Bread Board, with Oak Splits (note that this board has not been through the walnut oil/beeswax finishing process)

The incorparation of maple, oak and cherry make this small cuting board perfect for bread, cheese or anything else for an ordourve.
Cherry and Maple Cutting Board/Bread Board: (note that this board has not been through the walnut oil/beeswax finishing process)

The addition of a handle can make it much easier to carry whatever one wishes to serve.

Maple, oak, and walnut encompass this medium sized cutting board.
Signs: All signs are made from recycled/refurbished wood, and the are especially made to look worn and aged. Signs can be hung with visible worn hooks and rope, or unseen wire on the back.

This looks so great, very professinal. Everything is amazing. Makes me yearn for small shops on the coast!
Nice Wood My Friend!
I just love those close-ups of the signs. The dark shot of the ladder with the late light coming in is also very cool. I like the photography, and your narration brings in a sense of story behind each of the pieces. Mad soul.
I really enjoyed looking at your work. Great job! I hope to have a L.V piece gracing my home one of these days:) Thanks for sending me the link.
